Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 260: A conversation in a restaurant

"Here we are," the driver said, stopping the SUV at the entrance to a large building.

"Thanks for the ride," Idan thanked the driver before getting out of the car.

"You're welcome, Mr. Ethan," the driver replied with a smile. After everyone got out, the driver turned the SUV around and headed back to the base.

"Let's go," Milla said, confidently stepping forward into the branch building of the Awakened Association. Idan followed her, and Ned followed right behind Idan.

"Oh, Miss Milla!" one of the Association's employees exclaimed, noticing them and immediately recognizing Milla.

"What brings you here?" the employee asked, approaching Milla.

"He's here to register as an awakened one," Milla said, pointing at Ned.

"Oh!" the employee exclaimed, surprised. "Follow me."

The three of them followed the employee, and soon Ned received his awakened identity, the same as Idan and Arabel. The whole process went smoothly and without any problems.

"What are your future plans?" — Milla asked Idan and Ned when they left the Association building after completing registration.

"Well, we could use some food," Idan replied. Then he looked at Milla and, after a moment's thought, suggested: "Do you know a good restaurant? Let me treat you for your help."

Idan not only wanted to express his gratitude to Milla, but also to ask her a few questions.

Milla looked at Idan carefully and nodded, accepting his offer.

"This way, — Milla called, and soon the three of them entered the restaurant, which was located near the Association building.

"Welcome!" the waitress greeted them with a smile.

"A table for three, please, — Idan asked, stepping forward.

"This way, please," the waitress immediately led them to an empty table.

"Order whatever you want, I'll pay," Idan said with a smile, picking up the menu and starting to study it to choose food for himself and Ned, knowing that he would not do anything without his orders.

Thanks to System's tasks, Idan has become a connoisseur of delicious food to some extent. He carefully studied the menu and chose the dishes for himself and Ned, which he found delicious according to the picture on the menu.

Milla limited herself to a small dish, a few sweets and a drink.

"Besides the Defenders and the Untouchables, what other Guilds are present in Rumbus?" Idan asked Milla as they waited for their food to arrive.

"Hmm... let me think," Milla replied, mentally going over all the Guild members who were still in the city and those who had already left it. "Besides our Guild, several representatives of the Queens Guild have arrived with us to help us. There are also the Untouchables, to whom, as you learned from the military report, the awakened Kraus belongs. There are also members of the Wings of Freedom and the Red Sails. That seems to be it."

"Hmm... Defenders, Queens, Untouchables, Wings of Freedom and Red Sails? Only five Guilds?" asked Idan.

"Well, that's what I know. And I cannot say that apart from the members of these five Guilds, there are no other awakened ones. For example, people like you, those who don't belong to any Guild," Milla replied. "By the way, who are you looking for?"

"Huh?"

"When they asked you at the Military Base why you came, you said that you came to Rumbus in search of one person, but did not specify who exactly." Milla also had questions for Idan, so she agreed to his offer to treat her.

"I'm looking for my future relative," Idan said mysteriously with a slight smile, without revealing the identity of the person he was looking for.

"A future relative?" asked Milla.

"To be precise, I'm looking for my future brother-in-law," Idan clarified.

"Future brother-in-law? So you have a fiancee?" — Milla asked in surprise, and Idan could hear the disappointment in her voice.

"Yes, there is, and she is also an awakened one. By the way, she's coming to this city soon, too, and I'll introduce you to her.", — said Idan to Milla.

"Oh! Okay," Milla agreed, hesitating slightly. She didn't know why she felt a little sad when she found out that Idan had a fiancee. But as soon as he mentioned that his bride was an awakened one and would be arriving in the city soon, she became curious to find out what kind of woman Idan might be attracted to.

"Your order, — came a voice from behind Idan and Milla, distracting them from their conversation. The waiters brought their orders.

As soon as all the food and drinks were laid out on the table, the three of them silently began to eat.

"This damn System has completely ruined my tastes," Idan thought with annoyance, tasting each dish and comparing it with his own cooking. He found flaws in each of them, and instead of enjoying the meal, his mood soured.

Unlike him, Ned and Milla happily finished their dishes.

Although Ned had tasted Idan's food before, he didn't care how delicious it was. He happily ate everything his Master gave him, and therefore happily devoured the food his Master bought.

All of Idan's expectations of a delicious meal were spoiled by the quality of the food.

"Miss Milla, can you tell me where I can rent a rest room?" Idan asked Milla when everyone had finished their meal.

"You can stay at the Snow Fairy Tale Hotel. This is the best hotel in Rumbus," Milla replied immediately.

"Oh! That's how. And where is it located?"

"The hotel is located near the city center, and I will be happy to show it to you," Milla offered.

Idan did not refuse: "Good. And yes, if it's not a secret, do you know where the members of the other Guilds are staying?"

"Hmm. Most of the civilians have left the city, so there are a lot of empty houses in it. Guilds usually rent entire buildings after getting permission from the mayor of the city," Milla explained.

"Our Guild rented an entire building on Moonlight Street, the Untouchables occupied a house in Crystal Ice Square, the Queens chose a building near us on Moonlight Street, and the Wings of Freedom..." Milla happily pointed out the location of all the buildings housing members of all five Guilds.

"Thank you again, Miss Milla," Idan said, having received the necessary information.

"By the way, have you heard about the New People Guild?" Idan almost forgot to ask the question he wanted to ask.

"New people?" — Milla asked, puzzled, but then replied, "No, I haven't heard."

"Hmm, I see," Idan replied calmly. "Okay, let's leave it at that."

"Okay, follow me, I'll show you where the Snow Fairy Tale Hotel is located."

Idan, having paid for the meal with Ned, followed Milla out of the restaurant.

Idan didn't know that a little fox was sitting alone in the dark, holding her beloved camera in his paws. She took photos of Idan having lunch with Ned and an unknown girl.

As requested by the Mistress, Coco, like a good girl, did not forget to take pictures of Idan every time another girl appeared next to him.
